My Hat by Gwyther-Snoxells English Millinery

Snoxells is a long established company of hat manufacturers with their showroom based in Luton, designing three individual and distinctive collections.

My Hat is the Occasion wear label of Snoxells. The hats are made using the finest materials and each piece is hand-finished using exquisite trimmings. The range includes stunning hats and frivolous fascinators (head pieces). One of my customers called the My Hat fascinators ‘a little bit of nonsense’.

Peter Bettley

Known throughout the industry for his expertise and use of traditional millinery methods - every hat is hand stitched and hand finished. Peter Bettley has secured an enviable “Who’s Who” client list of celebrities and royals.

The Peter Bettley collection offers both structured and unstructured hats in soft mesh, silk and organza. Smart cocktail hats offer a striking alternative for day or evening wear with a finishing mesh and feather decoration. In contrast, structured hats present innovative, futuristic looking shapes. Crown heights and brim sizes vary in order to give the wearer the maximum choice, also offering trims that flow elegantly with the body to create a highly feminine image.

Tracy Mackinnon

Tracy’s passion for hats was born when working in the thoroughbred racing industry in Australia. She is based in Queensland and creates one-off designs for ladies wanting something a little bit different. Her hats have won Best Dressed and Most Elegant Lady competitions.

I was in Australia last year and came across Tracy’s shop, I fell in love with the designs and came away with a stunning hat and an agreement from Tracy that she would make some hats for me to send over to the UK.
